Just thoughts, mainly for the curious googler who wants to know what the "emigre" who used to do Iraq Blog Count really thinks. Not a heroic effort and not always pleasant, just a diary for anyone who is curious about what motivates "emigre". Is she a goody or a baddie in other words. And does she think the war is right or wrong and does she have a religion etc. Well no, she doesn't have a religion that could be named in any way although she certainly has her beliefs and a strong moral code.
I just can't get into Christmas this year. And I'm sure it's not just me. Everyone seems kind of down about it. It's not like there's any less shop trimmings (there's plenty) or any less carol singing. It's just that everyone just seems kind of quiet. It's kind of hard to celebrate when there's a bunch of wars on. It just doesn't seem right.
